The Cedar Oaks Clinic has been established to provide psychiatry and mental wellness support for all ages. Adults, family, and children are all welcome. We provide inclusive and holistic services, using the Cedar Oaks Model of Care, that include but are not limited to Medication Management, Mental Health Counseling, Recreational Therapy and Health Coaching all using the Integrated Psychiatric Therapy approach.
We wanted to choose a name that represents mental wellness and recovery. In many cultures, the Cedar tree symbolizes strength, protection, hope, support, and connection. Oak trees are some of the most loved trees and they represent strength, resiliency, wisdom, and knowledge. We believe each of these qualities is important for us all to achieve balanced mental wellbeing.
The Cedar Oaks team will take time to listen to your story and your mental health concerns. By learning from your history, your hopes, and your expectations, we will work with you to put a plan in place to support you with your mental health goals. We will do this using an integrative approach. This approach may include counseling, resiliency skills development, medication management, and other lifestyle recommendations.
We recognize that becoming our best selves takes time. It is a journey that may require ongoing support. We understand that one in four of us will experience at least one challenging mental health issue during our lives. We will use the latest research and strategies to inform our approaches. We look forward to meeting you soon.
We have used research to make our office space welcoming. From the moment you step into our clinic, we want you to feel relaxed and respected. We would always love to hear your ideas on improving the aesthetics to make sure it is a space that you feel comfortable in. We will be running groups and educational sessions from the clinic.
